Coleraine's Conor McKendry scored twice at Seaview
A Conor McKendry masterclass floored Crusaders at Seaview as the Bannsiders gained revenge for their 4-0 hammering at the Showgrounds.
The wing wizard scored a second half brace to stun the Crues who endured a frustrating afternoon against a resolute defence.
It was Coleraine's third clean sheet in 15 league games, allowing McKendry to steal the show and the points.
Crues boss Stephen Baxter was fuming with a free-kick awarded to Coleraine just before the opening goal but the visitors dug deep to claim a big win on the Shore Road.
"In a lot of the top six games there can be times when both sides cancel each other out and there's not a huge amount in it," said Coleraine boss Oran Kearney.
"This is as tough an away day as you get in the league and you need everyone on it.
"The first half wasn't one for the purist but scoring first was important and that gave us a real spring in our step.
"In any league, whoever you support, you want creative wide players who are consistent. We see the talent Conor has in training and games and I'm delighted everyone else can see it. He is producing what I know he has in the locker."
Coleraine, without the suspended Matthew Shevlin, drafted in Andrew Mitchell with Davy McDaid dropping to the bench.
Ross Clarke and Josh Robinson also missed out for the hosts through suspension, with James Teelan and Mal Smith coming in.
The home side almost got off to a dream start but Ben Kennedy's low drive was deflected wide.
That early chance wakened up Coleraine and Tuffey was tested twice by McKendry.
