Rio Ferdinand sent a clear message to Manchester United's players after the "absolute massacre" at Anfield as the Reds lost 7-0 to Liverpool.
United slipped to a 7-0 reverse for the first time since Boxing Day in 1931 at Anfield, with the Merseyside club recording their biggest-ever competitive win against the Reds. Erik ten Hag's side have now gone eight games without a win at Liverpool, where they have only won three times since December 2007.
Liverpool had three players each score two goals in the game, with Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez all grabbing braces. Substitute Roberto Firmino scored the seventh and final goal of the clash in the 88th minute after coming off the Liverpool bench.
