Sancho likes social media post appearing to criticise his time at Man United

Jadon Sancho has liked a social media post that appeared to criticise his time at Manchester United.

The forward has been slowly getting back to his best since his loan move to Borussia Dortmund in January, at least temporarily bringing his time at United to and end.

Having endured a torrid time with the Premier League side that saw him exiled from the United squad after a public fall out with manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho has been featuring regularly for old side Dortmund.

On Wednesday, the forward put in potentially his best showing in years as he was awarded the Player of the Match award for his performance against PSV as he helped his side into the last eight of the Champions League.

And on the back of the game, he liked a social media post from his club that seemed to slate his spell in England.

'Sancho is back doing Sancho things,' the official Dortmund account posted on X, formerly Twitter.

The wide man was quick to react to the post, which featured a video of some of his impressive moments from the European win this week.

It appeared to suggest that Sancho, 23, had been struggling until pulling the Dortmund shirt back on after re-joining the club on January 11.

Since his return, he has played 10 games, scoring twice including at the weekend as Dortmund beat Werder Bremen 3-1 in the Bundesliga. He has also picked up two assists.

It is unlikely he will play for United again and may depart in the summer, finally bringing an end to his two-year nightmare since joining the Red Devils from Dortmund in the summer of 2021.

The forward does however seem happy back in Germany, and expressed his gratitude for the club after the win over PSV.
