Sarina Wiegman's England squad confirmed as Man City and Manchester United stars dominate
Sarina Wiegman has named her squad for England's upcoming internationals with Belgium.
The Lionesses will take on Ives Serneels' side in a UEFA Women's Nations League double-header. And Wiegman has called up a host of stars from Manchester United and Manchester City for the upcoming clashes.
Fresh from making her 100th United appearance, goalkeeper Mary Earps is named in the 25-player squad, with club captain Katie Zelem, midfielder Ella Toone and defender Maya Le Tissier also representing the red half of the city.

Meanwhile, Alex Greenwood, Esme Morgan, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly and Jess Park make up England's Manchester City contingent. Despite having not featured for Gareth Taylor's side this term, goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck is also included in the squad. Fellow City shot-stopper Khiara Keating, who has impressed in the WSL this season, earns her first senior England call-up.
The Lionesses currently sit third in Nations League Group A, having suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Netherlands last time out. But Wiegman's side will hope to return to winning ways when they take on Belgium at the King Power Stadium on Friday, October 27.
England will then face the Belgian Red Flames again on Tuesday, October 31 at Den Dreef Stadium in Leuven. As well as being a trophy in its own right, the inaugural Women's Nation's League will be used to determine league positions for the qualifiers for Euro 2025.
The two teams that make it to the final of the Nations League will also qualify for the 2024 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament, alongside hosts France.
