Nunez has endured a difficult run of form in recent weeks, struggling for goals after an encouraging season for the Reds. And speaking to Stake, Aguero says if he keeps believing in himself, the goals will come.

He said: "I'm sure mine is probably the same advice his team-mates or his manager must be giving him... ‘keep on trying.’ That's key, and more so in a goalscorer like him. Darwin's got the knack – he is constantly on the prowl. You’ve got to respect that.’
Nunez has missed a lot of big chances for Liverpool. The talented forward joined the club in 2022 from Benfica. The 24-year-old has a lot of potential, as he has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season. One area he could potentially work on is his consistency in front of the goal. While he has shown great goal-scoring ability, he could aim to be more clinical and efficient with his finishing.
