Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has packed his bags ahead of an impending move to Manchester United, according to reports.
The Red Devils were keen to sign the Moroccan during the January transfer window but Fiorentina were reluctant to sell him.
United instead opted to sign Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich but their strong interest in Amrabat has remained.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport Amrabat is getting closer to joining United, with Erik ten Hag keen to strengthen his midfielder further.
Mail Sport reported on Saturday that the Fiorentina midfielder would cost the club £30million.
But the signing of Amrabat will depend on sales. Galatasaray are interested in Brazilian international Fred, though the Turkish club are falling short of his valuation, while Real Sociedad hold an interest in Donny van de Beek.
Securing the services of Amrabat would allow United to strengthen their capabilities in central and defensive midfield.
Amrabat had a sparkling season both for his club and his country, after playing a key role in helping Morocco make historic progress at the World Cup in Qatar.
Their fourth-place finished marked the highest-ever for an African nation, and came on the heels of landmark wins against Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
Amrabat also helped guide Fiorentina to the Europa Conference League final where they lost to West Ham in Prague last month.
United have already strengthened in the transfer window with the signings of Mason Mount and Andre Onana.
Ten Hag's side have also reached a £72m agreement with Serie a side Atalanta for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund.
