Mamelodi Sundowns continued their pre-season tour of Europe with a 1-0 victory over Dutch topflight side Go Ahead Eagles.
Sammy Seabi, who appears as though he will be given the chance to reignite his Sundowns career, scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half.
It follows a 2-2 draw with Belgian topflight side Gent on Friday in a game where The Brazilians led 2-0 thanks to goals from their new signing Lucas Ribeiro Costa and forgotten man Rivaldo Coetzee, who has regained his fitness after a long injury spell.
Seabi was signed by Sundowns from Polokwane City in the 2019/20 season, but has been loaned out in the last three campaigns to Moroka Swallows, Chippa United and Sekhukhune United.

But it appears that Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena now intends to give him a chance to win a place back in the team, though it could also be a symptom of him needing a bigger squad.
Sundowns are to compete for six trophies this season – the DStv Premiership, MTN8, Carling Knockout Cup, Nedbank Cup, CAF Champions League and African Football League.
That will stretch Mokwena’s resources, especially if injuries begin to bite.
Sundowns will play another two friendlies this week against Dutch sides Sparta Rotterdam and NAC Breda, before they open their DStv Premiership season against Sekhukhune United on August 4.
