Supercomputer predicts new Premier League title winner in Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City race

If the Premier League season had ended this past Sunday, Arsenal would have been crowned winners. Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool had held the advantage for the last few weeks but their 2-2 draw against Manchester United saw them remain second on goal difference after the Gunners went top with a win against Brighton.

Manchester City were also victorious this past weekend with Kevin De Bruyne the star of the show in a 4-2 win over Crystal Palace. Liverpool dropping points has been a rarity this season with the reverse fixture against Man United back in December the last time they were unable to pick up a league victory not against one of their title challengers.

Following the latest set of results, Arsenal are now in the driving seat on 71 points and a better goal difference than Liverpool who also sit on the same points tally. Man City meanwhile, are on 70 points with a lower goal difference than both of their rivals.

Seven fixtures remain for Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City with varying levels of difficulty on the agenda and Tottenham still have to take on all three. At the top of the table, Arsenal are the new favourites to win the Premier League title with a total of 86 points. Man City then follow in second on 84 points with Liverpool also on that total but only in third because of goals scored.

On 70 points, Aston Villa are then backed to pip Tottenham to the final top-four spot with Ange Postecoglou's side in fifth which is expected to still provide them with a Champions League spot.
