As far as career milestones go, Taylor Hinds' 100th Liverpool appearance was pretty memorable.
The defender, who joined the club from Everton in 2020, brought up a century of games for the Reds against Chelsea on Wednesday night, starring as Matt Beard's side came from behind to beat the reigning Women's Super League (WSL) champions 4-3 in a pulsating contest at Prenton Park. It was a performance that offered further evidence of the significant progress the club have made this term, with Liverpool currently level on points with fourth-place Manchester United, who finished 33 points ahead of their north-west rivals last season.
And Hinds was delighted to mark her landmark appearance with such a special win. "Since I've been at this club I've enjoyed every minute of it so to make 100 appearances is something I'm super proud of," she told the ECHO.

"I'm grateful to play so many games for the club. I think this season shows the direction we're going in as a club and as a team and where we want to be. We want to be reaching for the top three places in the league and I think you can see now we're heading in that direction."
One of the biggest factors behind Liverpool Women's success this season has been their move to the AXA Melwood Training Centre, with the iconic site having been re-purchased by the club last summer. "It's definitely brought much higher standards which we need," Hinds said.
