Tottenham news - Spurs left it late to beat Sheffield United in the Premier League with Richarlison playing a crucial role in both goals
Tottenham have kept their unbeaten streak intact in the most dramatic of circumstances with two stoppage-time goals to complete a comeback against Sheffield United. Spurs had dominated the game but Gustavo Hamer opened the scoring mid-way through the second half against the run of play to give the Blades a shock lead.
As a result, Ange Postecoglou threw on the bodies with Brennan Johnson making his debut and finding the back of the net, only to see it ruled out for offside. Tottenham kept plugging away though, and their pressure was rewarded when Richarlison headed home an Ivan Perisic corner in the 98th minute.
With the points then looking likely to be shared, Richarlison found Dejan Kulusevski with a superb pass and fired in the winner with his right foot. Understandably, Spurs fans were left buzzing with the late turnaround that sees them keep on the tails of Manchester City and also remain unbeaten in the league.
Richarlison playing a crucial role off the bench left numerous Spurs fans delighted, especially after he gave an honest admission earlier in the week on his current struggles. Postecoglou then commented on his open admission, insisting he would be involved against the Blades, and the Brazil international has proven that was the right decision.
