Chelsea booked another trip to Wembley Stadium this season in the FA Cup semi-final, but they left it late to do so.
The Blues hosted Championship leaders Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in the quarter-final on Sunday and looked to be easing through with a 2-0 lead at half time. Goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer put them in control, despite Raheem Sterling seeing his penalty saved.
But, the Foxes produced a comeback in the second period. They were given a helping hand from Axel Disasi who put the ball into his own net before Stephy Mavididi drew Leicester level just after the hour mark.
Leicester were reduced to 10 men in the 73rd minute when Callum Doyle was shown a straight red for tripping Nicolas Jackson when he looked through on goal. Chelsea then had to try and find a way past a tough defence.
It took them until the 92nd minute to do so, with Carney Chukwuemeka scoring the decisive goal. Noni Madueke then put the gloss on the result as the Blues let out a sigh of relief.
The late win booked their place at Wembley, where they will take on Manchester City in the semi-final. Here is the latest information on tickets and restrictions at the stadium from the official Wembley Stadium website ahead the game.
