That has led to comments from Postecoglou that he is ready to oversee a number of changes in personnel during the off-season, on both the playing and coaching side.
A recent report indicated that versatile forward Richarlison was on a list of names who could be sold for the right price as Postecoglou looks to make improvements.
Defender on list of potential departuresAccording to Football Insider, it has also been determined that Ben Davies is now surplus to requirements from next season onwards.
Davies is currently participating in his 10th year at Spurs, making a total of 330 appearances in all competitions during that period.
Over the past three completed campaigns, the Wales international has notably featured in at least 38 matches under a number of different head coaches.
However, the 31-year-old will not meet that figure this time around, Davies being restricted to 14 starts and five substitute outings.
His cause on that front has not been helped by a lack of continental football and a number of injuries, yet he no longer commands a regular role in the first XI.
Just four outings have come since the turn of the year, while his last two appearances — against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal — have ended in defeat.
