Tottenham Hotspur have been fairly active in the transfer market this summer as they look to strengthen their squad for Ange Postecoglou’s first season in charge.
After the manager’s arrival from Celtic, Spurs signed the likes of James Maddison and Micky van den Ven — and they’re unlikely to stop their recruitment drive there.
Last season’s disappointment means Spurs will be looking to bolster their squad in order to give Postecoglou the best chance of success as possible, particularly after a succession of underwhelming performances by managers.
Yet any signing will have to go a long way if they want to be considered among Spurs’ best-ever transfer.
From the goals of Teddy Sheringham, Jimmy Greaves and Jurgen Klinsmann to the pure entertainment of Paul Gascoigne or Ossie Ardiles, Spurs have done some incredible business over the years.
Some players they signed, such as Greaves, Gareth Bale and Dave Mackay, can be considered among the best players to have worn a Spurs shirt.
We now want you to vote for the best Spurs transfer of all time.
Perhaps the sheer weight of goals from Greaves means you consider him the best transfer, or does Ardiles’ decade of service swing the vote in his favour?
Have your say in the poll below.
