Vue, Cineworld, Odeon and more selling tickets for £3 today

The Odeon, VUE, Cineworld, Showcase and Picturehouse are all offering cheap cinema tickets today as part of National Cinema Day.

In the final weekend before children return to school, cinemas are offering tickets for as little as £3 today, which makes it the prefect chance to catch up on movies you have missed, including Christopher Nolan’s epic Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig's Barbie.

All films will be available to choose from at the low price, with the deal running all day and night.

Vue cinemas can be found in Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, and Southport. The venue in Cheshire Oaks is also reducing its price for the day. Cineworld in the New Mersey Shopping Park, as well as those in St Helens, Runcorn, and Broughton are also running the same offer, including for IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, and Superscreen showings.

Showcase Cinema de Lux Liverpool, on the East Lancashire Road, is also taking part in the deal, as is the Picturehouse at FACT Liverpool.

Some of the latest releases you'll be able to catch include the Equalizer 3, starring Denzel Washington, horror movie Cobweb, starring Anthony Starr, and Blue Beetle starring Xolo Maridueña.

National Cinema Day is an annual event across the UK which celebrates UK cinema and cinema-going. All tickets are £3 (plus 90p booking fee if purchased online at Vue).
