In-form Kabwe Warriors moved to the top of the MTN Super League with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Green Buffaloes, leap-frogging Red Arrows in the table as they were held 1-1 by champions Power Dynamos.
Warriors romped to a fourth Super League win in a row and head the table with 21 points from 10 games, one ahead of FC MUZA.
Mwamba Mutombo scored a brace and Ocean Mushure got the other as Warriors easily brushed aside Buffaloes, who are now in 11th in the table.
Alassane Diarra gave Arrows a first half lead against Dynamos, but Joshua Mutale equalised 11 minutes from fulltime as both sides had to settle for a point.
MUZA moved into second thanks to goals in each half from Emmanuel Manda and Andrew Phiri aa they beat Prison Leopards 2-0 to leave the latter second bottom. MUZA are the only unbeaten side left in the top division (W5 D5).
Arrows are in third and ZESCO United in fourth after their 1-1 draw at ZANACO. Brian Mwila gave the latter the lead early in the second half but Abraham Siankombo equalised for ZESCO in the final 10 minutes.
Jack Chirwa scored the only goal as Forest Rangers beat NAPSA Stars 1-0, while Konkola Blades completed victory by the same scoreline at Mutondo Stars. Eric Ettienne got their goal.
A brace from Clive Biyeta secured a 2-1 win for Mufulira Wanderers at bottom side Trident FC to move them into sixth in the table. Joseph Mumbi scored what proved to be a consolation for Trident.
