A sideshow to Sunday's Old Trafford 2-2 thriller between Manchester United and Liverpool was the customary fan reactions of Sky Sports co-commentators Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
Impartiality is not a requirement for Sky's big two on testy afternoons between these two bitter rivals.
In the first half, the despair was all Neville's as he bemoaned United's inability to make any impact on the away side, who led 1-0.
"It's so easy to play against Manchester United's midfield,' Neville said.
"It's basic stuff. Some of the things that Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro have done in the first half, it really is incredible for their experience. It's desperate defending from United."
Maybe it was Neville describing the game as Liverpool's easiest of the run-in that eventually sparked his reds into action.
Though in reality it was a careless pass across his defence from Liverpool youngster Jarell Quansah that gifted Bruno Fernandes the opportunity to arrow an audacious leveller over Caoimhín Kellaher.
That had Neville chuckling alongside Peter Drury, with Carragher groaning and slumping in his seat in agony.
