Chelsea have reached the second international break of the season, and the mood feels significantly better than the first. The Blues have now played eight Premier League matches and see their players depart off the back of three wins in a row across all competitions.
The period has not been all plain-sailing with difficult outcomes against Bournemouth and Aston Villa, but the 4-1 win over Burnley provides some momentum that was much-needed with Arsenal awaiting later in the month. Mauricio Pochettino's side sit 11th in the table, nine points behind the league-leaders and 10 clear of bottom place.

Raheem Sterling — His outing against Burnley alone is almost enough to see Sterling become a winner having missed out on the England squad once again. The winger is proving to be one of Chelsea's greatest attacking threats and made his mark on the left side of the pitch having missed the Blues' win over Fulham where Mykhailo Mudryk and Cole Palmer performed well.
The 28-year-old has more frequently found his best form in the early stages of the season, and tops Chelsea's goal contributions, though will undoubtedly want more as the opposition increases in difficulty.
Cole Palmer — Having arrived on transfer deadline day, Palmer quickly impressed in his contributions on the pitch. That Chelsea's three wins since he was signed have come in his three starts does not feel like a coincidence. The Man City academy product has quickly established his importance in Chelsea's attack and already earned penalty-taking responsibilities on his way to a goal and two assists.
