Roy Keane has admitted he was 'sat at home cringing' when Jurgen Klopp made his Liverpool players 'hold hands' after a 2-2 draw with West Brom in 2015.
The Reds had picked up 11 points from their opening seven Premier League matches under Klopp when they hosted West Brom. Jordan Henderson scored first before Craig Dawson and Jonas Olsson put West Brom ahead. A late goal from Divock Origi led to an explosion of joy at Anfield, followed by Klopp celebrating with his team.
But the full-time scenes, which saw the players join hands and celebrate in front of the Anfield crowd, was recalled by Manchester United legend Keane prior to Sunday's win over Tottenham Hotspur.

"[That game vs] West Brom, they drew and he's got them all cheering and holding hands at the end. I was at home cringing going what's this guy up to?" he told his Sky Sports colleagues. "But he knew what he as doing. He's a smart cookie."
Keane continued to discuss Klopp's famous man-management style, telling former Reds striker Daniel Sturridge that he wasn't a big fan of post-match hugs.
"At the end of the season if you win something [I'd have one]," he said. "I wouldn't be critical of him. Everyone's different and that's his personality. That's what he's brought to the football club. I won't be critical of that, far from it.
"I think if you win something at the end of the season then sure, hugs for everybody. But week in week out... That's his style of management and it's obviously worked for him"
Asked whether he had that kind of treatment under Sir Alex Ferguson, Keane recalled: "Maybe not
