Former Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has lifted the lid on what it's like to play for a top Premier League team like The Reds.
The Hungarian international joined Liverpool in July 2015 on a free transfer from Bolton Wanderers and made just two appearances for the Merseyside outfit between 2015-2019. Now, he's revealed the intense demands faced by professional footballers at a club with the stature of Liverpool.
In an exclusive interview with Ladbrokes Fanzone, Bogdan shared his experiences behind the scenes at Liverpool, describing the level of commitment required as "frightening". He said: "I joined up with the team (Liverpool) in that summer, and I just realised, you know, these guys deserved everything. The amount of hours you need to put in, and what was considered normal at Liverpool, was frightening."

Bogdan also recalled a memorable moment following a victory over arch-rivals Manchester United. He said (via The Mirror): "I can remember one weekend, we'd just beaten Manchester United, and then the next day, Simon Mignolet was back in the gym. I can remember just thinking 'what the f***, man, we've just beaten Man United!' That attitude wasn't unique, like it might have been at a smaller club. You're just one of the guys, because that's how everyone thinks at a club like Liverpool. You're expected to win every game."
