The 2023/24 summer transfer window in Scotland will close at midnight (12 a.m. BST / 7 p.m. ET) on Friday, September 1. That deadline is one hour later than in England.
Europe's other top four leagues will also close their transfer window on September 1 with the Bundesliga deadline at 12 p.m. ET, Serie A at 2 p.m. ET, Ligue 1 at 5 p.m. ET, and La Liga at the same time as the Premier League (11 p.m. ET).
After the closing of the window, Scottish Premiership clubs can only sign free agents who have not previously been registered with a club this season.
This also applies to clubs in the Scottish Championship, League One and League Two, but they can make loan signings if the player is moving from a higher division.
