After weeks of negotiations, Mason Mount is finally a Manchester United player and could make his debut soon.
The Englishman was officially unveiled to the Red Devils fans on Wednesday following his £60million transfer from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
United will pay £55m plus a possible £5m in add-ons for the midfielder, who has signed a £250,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford until 2028 with the option of another year.
Mount is expected to play a big part in United's pre-season, with preparation already well underway as several first team players returned to training yesterday.
Mail Sport breaks down when Mason Mount could make his debut for Manchester United and how you can watch it.
Mason Mount could make his United debut as early as next week. The 24-year-old has not played since April after suffering a pelvic injury towards the back end of the season.
However, the Englishman has had time to recover and could be a part of the United team that face Leeds on Wednesday, July 12 in Oslo. The game between the two sides will take place at the Ullevaal Stadium, with kick-off at 4pm BST.
The two teams last met in February, with the Red Devils securing a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
If the midfielder doesn't make his debut next Wednesday, Mount could make his debut a week later against Lyon. Both sides will face each other at BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh at 2pm. Shortly after the game, the Red Devils will then jet out to America for their US tour.
The Red Devils face fellow Premier League side Arsenal before facing Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Their pre-season will end on Sunday, August 6, with a game against Athletic Bilbao in Dublin.
