The ongoing controversy involving Felix "xQc" appears to have taken a new turn after he ended his stream after a couple of SSB streamers (Adin Ross' friends) made some homophobic and transphobic slurs. For context of what has been going on, there was a recent clip that went viral which featured Felix jocularly kissing fellow streamer AustinShow.
Furthermore, during a stream on April 20, 2024, Felix had a heated argument with Adin Ross on the topic of transgenders and homosexuality. Despite the disagreement, both xQc (along with Omie and Tyler "Trainwreckstv") and Adin (with Cameron "Cuffem," and Shnaggyhose) returned to streaming together today (April 22).
Amid the ongoing back and forth between the two groups, both Cuffem and Shnaggyhose made some offensive remarks. Felix's friend Omie ended up being on the receiving end of one too. This naturally upset the streamer, who decided to leave the call. He said:
He added:
Trainwreckstv, who is a co-owner of Kick and a friend to both Adin Ross and xQc, hit the roof over the situation and took Shnaggyhose and Cuffem to task for their derogatory language, even after xQc had bowed out of the stream. Addressing them, he said:
Adin Ross however appeared to be more sympathetic towards his friend Shnaggyhose, stating:
Trainwreckstv responded:
The group proceeded with their plan to play Call of Duty, as originally intended when xQc was still present. It was supposed to be a 5v5 showdown between xQc's team and Adin Ross'. However, it seems that Felix was left feeling upset and decided to end the stream. Fans will have to stay tuned to see what comments he makes next about the issue.
