A number of ex-Tottenham Hotspur players have been sending birthday wishes to their former teammate and NI international Gerard McMahon on a milestone birthday.
McMahon signed for the north London club in 1992 after making his debut for Irish League side Glenavon just weeks beforehand.
The teenager had just broken into the first team for the Lurgan Blues and had managed three goals during his seven appearances, including a goal in a 2-1 win Irish Cup final win over Linfield in his last game before the £100,000 move.
McMahon took a while to settle across the water and had spells on loan at both Barnet and Stoke City, but made his first-team debut in May 1995.
His only goal for Spurs came in a 2-1 Intertoto Cup defeat to Osters IF in July 1995.

Having been on loan at Stoke City, the Potters signed him for £450,000 in 1996, with McMahon moving to St Johnstone in 1998 and then home to Glenavon in 2000.
In his second spell in Lurgan, he made 179 appearances, scoring 40 times as he finished out his professional career in 2008.
McMahon was also capped by Northern Ireland for the first time in 1995 and he would go on to make a further 16 appearances for the Green and White Army, helping himself to two international goals.
