Gabriel Magalhaes was spotted shouting at Michael Oliver during the second half of Arsenal's clash against Burnley. The 25-year-old defender ripped into the referee after Josh Brownhill managed to find an equaliser for Vincent Kompany's side at the Emirates Stadium.
Luca Koleosho tried his luck one-versus-one against Takehiro Tomiyasu on the left-wing and, just as the Japan international looked set to retrieve possession, the Clarets winger dispossessed him in the Gunners box. Koleosho appeared to grab hold of Tomiyasu and push him to the floor with his right hand.
As the Italian then played the ball into the box, the Gunners defender was laid out on the pitch and protested a foul. Arsenal failed to clear the danger and Brownhill unleashed a strike goal-bound with Gabriel deflecting the ball past Raya.
As Burnley wheeled away in celebration, the Brazil international made his feeling known about the alleged foul on Tomiyasu. Neither Oliver nor the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) heeded Gabriel's protests and the newly-promoted side's goal was not ruled out.
Just three minutes later, William Saliba put Arsenal back in front and calmed the nerves of his centre-half partner. While the duo have prided themselves as one of the strongest duos in Europe in recent times, questions continue to be asked of new signing David Raya.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper has made a few high-profile errors since replacing Aaron Ramsdale between the sticks. Speaking on ESPN, Craig Burley has claimed Saliba and Gabriel will soon begin to suffer because of Raya's poor performances.
