Mikel Arteta is waiting on the fitness of several players for Arsenal's Premier League clash against Burnley this weekend. Despite a number of stars missing, the Gunners ran out 6-0 winners against West Ham last weekend with Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe absent despite expectations the duo would be in the matchday squad.
Following the comprehensive victory, Arteta revealed both Tomiyasu and Smith Rowe had not suffered serious injuries. Jurrien Timber remains as the only long-term absentee with Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira expected back this month after each missing a significant period.
Elsewhere, Jorginho is managing a minor issue which saw him an unused substitute against West Ham while return dates for the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko remain unknown.
