AC Milan are among the clubs monitoring Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly.
The 25-year old centre back is out of contract in the summer and has shown no inclination to sign an extension.
Tottenham made a £20million offer to sign the England U21 international in August but Kelly opted to stay and will have a greater choice of options from January onwards as he looks to leave on a free next summer.
Milan have been gathering reports and their technical director Geoffrey Moncada was in the stands to watch Kelly in action against Burnley last month.
Their interest in Kelly comes amid an injury crisis at the heart of Stefano Pioli's defence.
Both Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino picked up long-term injury blows during their 2-2 draw with Napoli at the weekend.
Pellegrino was diagnosed with a fractured left foot while AC Milan confirmed that Kalulu underwent surgery on Thursday to repair a complete rupture of his left rectus femoris tendon and will be out for four months.
Kelly joined Bournemouth from Bristol City for a fee worth around £13m in the summer of 2019
Since then, he has gone on to make 117 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring two goals.
Kelly has been in and out of the Cherries squad so far this season because of injuries, but he has featured in six of Bournemouth's ten Premier League outings.
The defender has also been linked with moves to Liverpool and Newcastle in past windows.
