AC Milan fans reject possible Lopetegui arrival
Julen Lopetegui ended his time at Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2023 and has not been in charge of a club since. In recent days he has been linked with a number of top European clubs.
AC Milan are the main contenders to secure the Spaniard's services, among other clubs who have shown interest in Lopetegui. According to 'Relevo', both coach and club are holding very positive talks, which has not gone down well with the Italian side's fans.
Milan fans are collecting signatures to prevent the Spaniard's arrival at the San Siro and at the time of writing have more than 6,000. This initiative is being carried out under the slogan "NOPEtegui". An 'X' hashtag has even been created with the same name.
Milanare actively searching for a replacement for Stefano Pioli. Julen Lopetegui seems to be well positioned to be it, but the Milan fans don't see it the same way.
