Earlier this week Aldi announced the launch of the next drop of its much-loved Lacura beauty products. Comprised of three new skincare items, including a £4 alternative to the Weleda Skin Food, the beauty buys have launched in stores across the country.
Teasing the new products on Aldi’s Specialbuys UK Instagram account, fans of the budget supermarket can get their hands on the Lacura Moisturising Cream for £3.99, which comes available in a light or rich version; Lacura Illuminating Moisturiser for £4.99, and Lacura Hydrating Gel Serum for £4.99. The products were released in stores on January 25.
Aldi’s announcement on social media has been viewed over 240,000 times, racking up 2,732 likes and 447 comments. Aldi fans said the supermarket should just set up its own beauty aisle. Jodielouisesam said: “Just have a permanent skincare and beauty aisle already because I am sick of hunting and finding it in store.”

She said the products are wallet-friendly alternatives to the Weleda Skin Food (£14.95), Elemis Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser (£44) and the Elemis Superfood Cica Calm Hydration Juice (£44).
