Since Stan Kroenke became majority shareholder of Arsenal Football Club, millions have been spent on new players. In that time, the Gunners have failed to win a single Premier League title.
From Arsene Wenger's final years in north London, Unai Emery's short spell to Mikel Arteta transforming football at the Emirates Stadium, Kroenke has overseen all the deals. Success has been bare for the club in recent years, barring the handful of FA Cups, but the investment in the playing squad under Edu Gaspar and Arteta has been efficient.
Many have come and gone, failing to make a name for themselves for the club. Others have been signed for big money fees and set the world alight with their performances. After years of protests against Kroenke, the feeling amongst supporters is that the work done recently is of the highest quality.
