Fallout 4 Next-gen update is here, and many players are eager to find out what new quests were added with this patch. As was the case with the Skyrim Anniversary Edition, this free update breaks more things than it fixes for PC players. But, it does add some new bonus Creation Club Content.
In this guide, we will go over all the new quests introduced to Fallout 4 with its Next-gen patch, and where you can find them.
All in all, the Fallout 4 Next-gen update integrates seven new quests into the base game, including a few Enclave sub-quests. Of these quests, only three are brand-new, with the rest being older Creation Club Content releases that have been repurposed and made canon.
Here are all the new quests:
This quest starts on the road that trails off to a broken bridge due south of Saugus Ironworks. You will automatically pick it up when you approach Saugus Ironworks from the north.
After that, it's a matter of following the trail of blood to pick up on how the caravan went missing. Facing off against the Enclave, there are some good Enclave-themed lootables in this quest, including a set of Enclave Hellfire Mk-II Power Armor.
Within the Saugus Ironworks is another self-contained quest called 'Crucible'. Although the quest itself is not too complicated, you can fish around for some secret goodies - including an Explosives bobblehead near Slag's starting location.
The Crucible mini-quest rewards you with a Heavy Incinerator, one of the new powerful weapons in Fallout 4 next-gen update. However, to grab the Heavy Incinerator, you will need a Power Armor leg module that makes you immune to fire damage.
