Gabriel Martinelli was injured in the Gunners' Premier League match against Sheffield United on 4 March.
The Brazilian player scored in the 15th minute of the first half at the Gtech Stadium but had to be replaced in the 64th minute by Gabriel Jesus due to injury.
The 22-year-old striker missed his side's win over Brentford. “We had Martinelli and Bukayo Saka with little issues. We’re pretty positive that hopefully they can be part of that. But we’ll have to see how they feel,” dijo Arteta antes del partido ante los Bees.
The player did not train with his team-mates on Monday and looks set to miss the second leg of their Champions League tie at the Emirates Stadium against Porto with a foot injury, leaving Arteta's side to try and turn the tie around without the striker who has recorded eight goals and five assists for Arsenal this season.
