Arsenal can achieve something they are yet to do this season in Sunday's North London Derby against Tottenham. The Gunners are firmly in an exhilaratingPremier League title race against Manchester City and Liverpool, however just one in five have seen the latter lose significant ground.
Mikel Arteta's side head to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with two wins in the last seven days under their belt following on from defeats against Aston Villa and Bayern Munich. The Lilywhites meanwhile, have not played since mid-April when they were comfortably beaten away at Newcastle.
While that made it three games on their travels without a win, at home, Spurs are much more of a threat having won seven of their last eight. Away from Emirates Stadium though, is also where the Gunners have dominated with six consecutive league clean sheets and 22 goals.
In the reverse fixture, an exciting four-goal thriller ended level but both teams are in desperate need of three points in Sunday's clash. Last season, Arsenal won this exact clash 2-0 however they are yet to beat a top seven team away from home this season.
Draws to Liverpool and Man City were positive results in the context, however defeats to Newcastle and Villa may prove costly. Beating Tottenham on their own patch however would be a significant step forward and one that Manchester City would also need to repeat.
Like Arsenal, Man City have struggled for wins away from home against others around them with stalemates against Arsenal and Liverpool following defeat to Villa, however, a last-gasp goal saw them beat Newcastle. In May, Pep Guardiola's face Tottenham away from home and those two games in north London could ultimately decide the title.
Recent form and consistency see Arsenal as clear
