Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has taken his on the pitch form into the kitchen by unveiling his own Nando’s sauce. The popular chicken restaurant chain is renowned for its array of Peri-Peri sauces, ranging from mild options to eye-wateringly hot.
And now another in the name of theEngland star has been added to the list. And according to the Daily Star, the limited edition Peri-Peri Saka sauce is described as 'mixing sweet, spiciness and smokiness'.
“I love it and can't wait for everyone to try it," Saka said. «I’ve been going to Nando’s since I was little so to have my own sauce is quite mad.
“My family’s really important to me so I wanted to make sure they liked it, too. As soon as my Dad said he was a fan, I knew it was the one.”
Promoting the sauce, which will be available at every Nando’s in the UK and Ireland for a limited period, Saka appears in a Nando’s advert as a chef concocting the new creation while dishing out orders to staff. At one point he demands: 'More garlic, more tomato, more lemon.'
After trying and deciding it needs more of a 'kick', the advert concludes with the 22-year-old adding a chilli to the pot.
