Arsenal team news hint emerges ahead of Sevilla as Jorginho drops major starting XI indication

Arsenal star Jorginho may have dropped a major hint that he is in line to start this evening's UEFA Champions League clash against Sevilla. The Italian international has been in Mikel Arteta's starting XI for his side's last two outings, Premier League fixtures against Manchester City and Chelsea. 

Ahead of the Gunners' trip to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, Jorginho has now posted a matchday preview video on his Instagram, perhaps a hint that he is in line to start the match in Spain. The former Chelsea midfielder has played at number six behind Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in the aforementioned two fixtures, with Arsenal defeating City 1-0 before drawing 2-2 against the Blues on Saturday.

The 31-year-old has also been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in recent times but on Monday he refused to get drawn into transfer speculation. «No I haven’t had any conversations (about a new contract) to be honest,» he said during Arsenal's pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Sevilla.

«All I can say is that I feel really good here. I’m really happy at Arsenal.

»I haven’t thought about it to be honest with you. I’ve only been thinking about tomorrow (Tuesday)."

Despite making his Champions League debut nine years ago, Jorginho revealed that he still gets extremely excited before each match in Europe's premiere competition. «It’s iconic, it’s so remarkable,» the ex-Napoli star said when asked about the iconic Champions League song.
