The Gunners boss has admitted further deals are in the running before the transfer window closes later this summer
Mikel Arteta has admitted that Arsenal will look to sell players before the end of the transfer window.
It's been a busy summer so far for the Gunners who have brought in Jurrien Timber, Kai Havertz and club-record signing Declan Rice. This saw them travel to the United States for their pre-season with a squad of 31 players, with Nicolas Pepe, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares, Cedric and Reiss Nelson all left behind.
"Obviously, the market is still open and things can happen. We are prepared. I’m really happy with the squad we have at the moment. We have improvements to make in terms of what we want to do in games and we still have to do that. Overall really pleased with the team."
It is expected meanwhile that all the senior players who stayed behind bar Nelson will leave this summer. Depending on which exits occur at the Emirates this summer, the Gunners could well be back in the market for a fourth signing.
