The defender had featured for England’s Youth teams, including the U17, U19 and U23, but chose to represent Nigeria at the national team level.
The 25-year-old played a crucial role in Nigeria's 3-2 win over Australia at the ongoing FIFA Women's WorldCup as she was in action for 76 minutes.
Plumptre also played full 90 minutes in their 0-0 draw with Canada Women in their opening fixture of the tournament.

FootballThe former LA Galaxy OC star once stated that she decided to play for the Super Falcons in order to uncover more about her heritage.
She qualified to play for Nigeria through her paternal grandfather, a Yoruba from Lagos and then made her international debut in July 2021.
