Good evening and welcome to the Liverpool Echo's live coverage of Atalanta vs Liverpool in the UEFA Europa League.
The Reds have it all to do in this quarter-final, as they slumped to a stunning 3-0 loss to the Serie A side on home soil in the first leg. It means Jurgen Klopp's side will need to score at least three goals to at least take the tie to extra time.
Liverpool, who were huge pre-tournament favourites in the Europa League, will be big underdogs to do so in Bergamo. However, the football club has a rich history of European fightbacks and those travelling will be hopeful of another night to remember. After all, Klopp's side did win 5-0 on their last trip to Atalanta.
The Liverpool boss looks set to be boosted by a number of key players returning too, with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota all in contention to start after injury layoffs as of late.
After their historic win at Anfield last time out, Atalanta were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Verona in Serie A at the weekend. However, with the team in sixth in the Italian top flight, it would be no surprise if focus had already shifted towards tonight's huge encounter.
Ian Doyle will be in attendance at Gewiss Stadium to bring you live updates, while Paul Gorst is in place to provide analysis throughout the evening too.
