Co-op Live has been forced to cancel its debut gig at the last minute.
Manchester's newest arena issued a statement on Twitter/X saying tonight’s A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie show will not go ahead as planned. The US rapper's gig was supposed to be the first official event at the venue.
As fans queued up outside to enter, Co-Op Live released the following statement: "Due to a venue-related technical issue, tonight’s A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie show will no longer go ahead."

"We kindly ask fans to leave the area. Tickets holders will receive further information in due course. We deeply apologise for the significant inconvenience this will cause for many."
Tonight's cancellation is the latest misstep in what has been a shaky start for the for the £365m arena. It is the third time the venue has had to cancel its opening event.
The arena was originally supposed to open with a series of Peter Kay gigs starting on April 23.
Last week, the comedian's shows were moved to April 29 and 30 after issues with the launch event. But the shows were once again rescheduled. The delay is also set to impact the Black Keys performance, which has also been postponed to next month.
In a statement last week, Co-Op Live said: "Since making the difficult decision to postpone the live shows at Co-op Live due to take place this week, we have been undertaking an extensive protocol of testing critical procedures to ensure all areas are ready for fans. To ensure that we can run all shows safely, regretfully we have now had to take the decision to reschedule the planned The Black Keys and Peter Kay shows.
