HJK Helsinki 1 Larne 0
St Joseph's celebrated a shock Conference League success at Solitude last year
Larne battled back from conceding after just three minutes to take just a 1-0 deficit into the second leg of their Champions League first qualifying round tie against HJK Helsinki.
The Inver Reds found themselves behind in the early stages after Bojan Radulovic scored from the penalty spot, but they would keep the Finns off the board for the rest of the game.
Although they couldn’t score themselves, Larne will be confident they can turn around the deficit in the second leg, which will be in Belfast next week.
