Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has raged that he doesn't 'give a s***' about their search for a new manager after their latest Bundesliga defeat.
The German giants are now 16 points off runaway leaders Bayer Leverkusen in what is realistically no longer a title fight, after they blew a 2-0 lead in a 3-2 defeat to Heidenheim on Saturday.
They have already decided to part ways with current manager Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season, and their shocking defeat was their second in a row after they previously lost 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund.
It was the worst possible preparation for the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie with Arsenal at the Emirates on Tuesday.
Speaking to ZDF, Eberl said he didn't 'give a s***' about the search for a manager, and was more concerned that his side would 'get a slap to the face' by Arsenal in their next game.
He said: 'I don’t give a s*** about the search for a coach. Now it’s all about the game on Tuesday.
'That’s already complicated enough we have to go to London on Tuesday, we’ll face a team that, with all due respect to Heidenheim, is a class above them in terms of the way they play football.
'We really have to make a proper turnaround so that we don’t get a slap to the face.'
Eberl added: 'After Dortmund, we told the players that they should all take a moment to question themselves. And then, this is what comes out in the second half today.'
The sporting director also claimed that this is 'not the Bayern' that he knows.
Bayern Munich had established a 2-0 lead before half time courtesy of goals from Harry Kane and Serge Gnabry.
However, Heidenheim managed to turn the game around, with Kevin Sessa getting a goal back before Tim Kleindienst scored a brace.
