Bayern Munich WAGs 'denied Arsenal tickets' due to Champions League ban

The WAGs of Bayern Munich's squad have been left disgruntled after being refused tickets to tonight's Champions League showdown against Arsenal due to a fan ban implemented by the UEFA.

Thomas Tuchel's Bayern are on the brink of relinquishing the Bundesliga title for the first time in over ten years, making the Champions League their only remaining chance for glory this season. However, standing in their way is what Tuchel called «the best team in the Premier League», certainly implying a tough tie ahead.

Their task has been made even more challenging as Harry Kane and his teammates will not have the support from their families in the stands. That's because there is a UEFA ban preventing any Bayern fans from attending the match at the Emirates.

The German side received this penalty in response to igniting fireworks in the stands and hurling them onto the pitch during various European matches this campaign, with their last violation occurring in their round-of-16 tie against Lazio just last month. As a direct result, all Bayern followers are barred from attending the game, and Arsenal fans have been cautioned about repercussions if they attempt to sell their tickets to any Bavarian sympathisers, reports the Daily Star.

But UEFA ban aside, it's been said that several Bayern WAGs have nonetheless flown over to the UK in hope of enjoying a lavish day out in London. The unusual circumstances have handed the Gunners a significant home advantage as they aim to reach the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2009.
