Champions Larne hit the Premiership summit for the first time this season as Coleraine failed to make it three wins on the bounce.
In a full programme of top flight action, there were victories for the Invermen, Linfield, Glentoran, Cliftonville, Crusaders and Carrick Rangers.
The Bannsiders’ impressive early season form collapsed at the Loughview Leisure Arena where Carrick won 2-0 with Kyle Cherry and captain David Cushley on target while Jamie Glackin was dismissed for the visitors.
At Inver Park, second half goals from Lee Bonis, Andy Ryan and Leroy Millar sunk Ballymena United 3-0.
Linfield produced a powerful second half performance to sweep past Glenavon 4-2.

Stephen Teggart and Calum Birney struck for the Lurgan Blues but a Chris Shields brace and goals from Joel Cooper and Chris McKee sealed the win.
“It was a hard fought, but a good win,” said Blues boss David Healy.
“Glenavon are one of those sides who make it really difficult for you.
“The mistake we made was when we got the first goal, we didn’t settle down after it.
“We conceded a really poor goal, although it was a good finish by the lad.
“We were better in the second half and I am delighted with the the three points.
“We now move on to another difficult game against Ballymena United on Friday.
“The lads put in a good shift, so I can’t complain.
“We’ll get better, there is no doubt that.”
At Lakeview Park, Daire O’Connor’s 19th minute finish gave Warren Feeney’s side a slender 1-0 win.
