Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has remedied the injury absence of Will Keane by calling up Bohemians striker Jonathan Afolabi and QPR starlet Sinclair Armstrong for the Aviva Stadium clash with the Netherlands on Sunday.
Keane's absence, having suffered an injury in Thursday night's defeat to France, further depleted the striker ranks after Evan Ferguson was ruled out prior to the Stade de France loss.
Afolabi - who has scored 11 times in as many appearances for Bohs of late - receives his first senior call up having turned out for the under-21s against Armenia in June 2019, a side then managed by Kenny.
Armstrong, who has scored one goal in five Championship appearances for QPR this season, has been promoted from the Ireland under-21 squad.
The pacy frontman had been due to line out for Jim Crawford's outfit against Turkey at Turner's Cross on Friday evening.
