The Republic of Ireland have now dropped 21 places in the FIFA world rankings under Stephen Kenny.
Kenny's side were previously 34th in the world (2020), but the latest rankings - announced on Thursday morning - now pit them as the 55th-ranked international outfit, two places below where they found themselves before the Euro 2024 qualifier losses to France and the Netherlands.
There has been no change to the top-ranked international sides, with Argentina, France, Brazil, England and Belgium making up the top five.
