Borussia Dortmund reportedly want to sign Ian Maatsen on a permanent deal after his impact during his loan from Chelsea.
The Blues loaned Maatsen to Dortmund in the January transfer window in order to get valuable first-team experience. Since then, the 22-year-old has been the starting left-back under manager Edin Terzic for the Bundesliga club.

It has been claimed that the added boost of funds from the Champions League will help Dortmund in their efforts to sign Maatsen this summer.
