Burnley have continued to bolster their lineup for the upcoming Premier League season, signing free agent, Nathan Redmond, on a two-year deal.
He became the club’s seventh signing following their return to the Premier League in May.
The Clarets’ social media team found another unique way to announce their newest signing, using a hilarious clip from the American TV show 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' to relay the news.
In the clip, Detective Jake Peralta (played by Andy Samberg) makes the guys in the criminal line-up sing the Backstreet Boys’ song 'I Want It That Way'so they can be easily identified.
Burnley inserted Redmond as suspect No. 5 in the clip, per their Twitter account, making him 'sing' along to the classic tune.

FootballWhen the witness said, 'It was number 5', Redmond reappeared in the video. He continued the witness’s statement, saying he 'has signed for Burnley! Up The Clarets!'
