A chef has lifted the lid on the secrets of cooking for Premier League footballers and legendary musicians.
Stacey Leith, a 33 year-old from Huyton, used to be the former Lead Chef for Liverpool FC, cooking meals for the likes of Mo Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Currently, she is the private chef for 50 Cent, the American rapper.
Speaking to the ECHO from America while travelling with the musician and his team as part of his Final Lap Tour, Stacey revealed what she cooks for 50 Cent while he is touring the globe.

She said: “I know with 50 Cent, he has steak every single day without fail. But that's the kind of diet he’s eating for - more like a high protein, high carb diet.”
Although artists like him have particular demands, their diets can be more flexible than Liverpool players, who are all put on a specialised nutrition plan to maximise their performance on the pitch. Despite these restrictions placed on them, Stacey argued it was a pleasure to cook for them from 2019 to 2023.
Stacey said: “They’re so lovely, so down to earth. They've got no say in dietary requirements to be honest because of our nutritionists, but they just eat anything that’s given to them. No one’s fussy, they all love their food, they’re all very complimentary of the food.
“They really bonded with all the staff. They were all so lovely. We had no picky eaters and no divas.”
Stacey said the club’s move from Melwood to the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby brought the players and staff closer together. She said: “It was like one big home - you would actually sit down and eat your food with the players.
