New Chelsea signing Kendry Paez will reportedly visit England and Stamford Bridge for the first time since joining the club after receiving his visa.
The Ecuadorian wonderkid was signed by the Blues in the summer after breaking into the Independiente del Valle first-team. Chelsea paid £17.3million for the midfielder but will have to wait until he turns 18 before he can feature.
Paez recently became a regular for the Ecuador national team — scoring in the 2-1 win over Bolivia — with his performances for club and country leaving supporters in west London excited over his future.
Unfortunately, clubs in England are unable to sign players under the age of 18 who do not possess British citizenship. That means that Paez won't be allowed to feature for the club until 2025.
However, it seems as though he will visit west London in the near future after finally receiving his visa to enter the country. Independiente Del Valle's sporting director, Roberto Arroyo, has revealed in an interview with Mach Deportes that the teenager will pay his future side a visit.
«We just had Kendry Paez's visa accepted, and now we have to wait for Chelsea FC's planning for him to travel,» he said.

Independiente Del Valle have their final games of the Ecuadorian League to contend with, meaning Paez isn't expected to visit England until after that.
When he does make the trip, Mauricio Pochettino will get the first chance to see the midfielder in action. Paez is a signing for the future, but the Chelsea head coach will be keen to get a taste of what to expect.
