Chelsea owner Jose E. Feliciano makes big statement as next deal confirmed for Clearlake Capital

Clearlake Capital have announced yet another deal for one of their investment companies.

Founded by Chelsea's co-owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose E Feliciano, the private equity firm continue to go from strength to strength and have announced that BBB Industries, through their backing, have acquired Hydraulex.

The 'sustainable manufacturer serving automotive, industrial, energy storage, and solar markets' company, BBB Industries, has now acquired Hydraulex in what is described as an 'important milestone in BBB’s journey as it further expands the company’s offerings into an array of industrial markets.'

It is the final deal completed by the USA-based firm before their second quarter report was released on Tuesday. It marks the ninth total transaction in 2023, following on from the high-profile sale of risk management software company, Archer, to European private equity group Civen.

This piece of businss for BBB now becomes the second under their eye this year, adding to investments for BakeMark, Concert Golf Partners, Perforce and Springs Window Fashions.

In a press release, BBB CEO Duncan Gilis said: “We are thrilled to welcome Hydraulex into the BBB enterprise. This acquisition opens opportunities to provide our customers with additional product and service options.
