It was a goalless second half between Chelsea and Newcastle in the Premier League Summer Series clash after the first half ended 1-1 thanks to goals from Nicolas Jackson and Miguel Almiron
Kepa Arrizabalaga - Made a comfortable save early in the second period and donned the captain's armband when Reece James was substituted.
Reece James - Produced a solid 20 minutes after the break. 6.
Trevoh Chalobah - Strong second half performance with Bashir Humphreys. 6.
Bashir Humphreys - Defended Alexander Isak well in some one v one moments. 7.
Marc Cucurella - Did not do much to reassure in his 20 minutes on the pitch after getting caught out in the first period. 5.
Enzo Fernandez - Had a wayward shot early in the half but was otherwise solid. 6.
Conor Gallagher - No goal on this occasion but perhaps Gallagher's best outing as he broke up play and drove forward well. A good response to all the interest around him. 7.
Ian Maatsen - A disciplined albeit brief second period. 6.
Cesare Casadei - The 20-year-old moved into a more advanced position behind Christopher Nkunku for the second period. Solid. 6.
Raheem Sterling - Still struggling to get involved as much as he would like. Some nice one-two moves but would expect more. 5.
Christopher Nkunku - Looked more engaged moving to the forward position and had a good effort saved after Gallagher's through-ball before the hour mark. 6.
Malo Gusto - Again looked the part during his time on the pitch, alert to interceptions and strong in his play. 7.
Ben Chilwell - Another consistent outing for the former Leicester star, continuing to push high up the pitch to be an attacking outlet. 6.
Andrey Santos - Looked very composed when he entered the field as he continues to grow into pre-season.
